Consort services Ltd and Lancer Scott have been working in partnership since 2009, in that time we have been asked to attend reactive call outs within the social housing, retail, hospitality, leisure, and healthcare sectors. We also carry out planned maintenance within all of these types of properties and many more on a regular basis. Our helpdesk team work very closely with Lancer Scott staff, and management, to ensure that the needs of the client are met to the highest standard and within an agreeable timeframe.
A few examples, of the type of work that we carry out on a daily basis, are as follows.
This would normally begin as an emergency call out. The relevant property (supermarket, fitness centre, restaurant) report water ingress into the building from the roof area. We will initially attend and assess the cause of the leak and carry out a temporary repair if possible. We would then create a full survey report with our findings and offer advice on any further action that may be required. Once agreed we will return to site and carry out the recommended steps to resolve the issue permanently
Quite often the lamp posts in public car parks get damaged by vehicles, so when required, we will attend site and assess the damage and possible risks that are present. We will isolate and remove the damaged column so that the risks to others is alleviated. We will then carry out a full replacement which will include excavating the ground, installing the relevant electrics, installation of a lighting column which can be up to 5m high, and carry out the relevant groundworks including tarmac etc.
The petrol forecourt canopy can often get damaged by either bad weather or impact from a vehicle. We will attend with the relevant form of access (be it a mobile tower scaffold or some form of mewp). Remove the damaged section of canopy. We can then fabricate a replacement off site and reinstall the new section once completed.
These works require the full strip out of existing staff rooms, inclusive of fixtures and fittings, such as lockers, flooring and electrical apparatus. The areas were reconfigured by constructing new partition walls, and installing new access routes/doorways. New flooring was installed, new lighting and plumbing installed, full decoration throughout and the installation of new mirrors, lockers and sanitary ware
